The following covers answers to some frequently asked questions.

How do I order?

To order a La Belle cake or cupcakes, please submit your order via the form on the Contact us page or call me on 07932 673313.  Alternatively, you can email me at info@labellecakes.co.uk

How much will my cake cost?

As La Belle cakes are custom designed and created individually for each customer there is no set price. Prices depend on the detail, design and shape and flavour of a cake.  Please email me at info@labellecakes.co.uk

 

What is the minimum order?

The minimum size for a cake is 6” and for cupcakes is 12 cupcakes.

How much notice is required?

As much as possible! Ideally at least 3 weeks for celebration and cupcakes. For larger orders and wedding cakes at least 6-8 weeks in advance. Sometimes, small last-minutes orders may be fitted in – please contact me by phone – 07932 673313

Do you offer cake tastings?

Cake tasting or samples are provided for wedding cakes, and carry a fee to cover costs.

Where is collection from?

Cakes can be collected from my premises in Whyteleafe on the arranged date and time. Cakes should be transported on as flat a surface as possible during transport. La Belle cakes cannot accept any responsibility for any damage once the cake(s) has been collected or deterioration of the cake(s) if not collected on the arranged date.

Do you deliver?

If required, delivery and set up can be made for wedding cakes within a reasonable driving distance from Whyteleafe and priced depending on distance and your requirements.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.  All orders require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The final balance for celebration cakes must be paid 5 days before collection/delivery and wedding cakes must be paid three weeks prior or the wedding date.

How should I store the cakes?

Cupcakes and cakes are best kept in a cool place in the box they are supplied in. Do not refrigerate them as this may cause damage to the decorations. However, fresh cream cakes or cakes with cream cheese should be refrigerated and any sugar paste models should be removed before putting these cakes in the fridge. Refrigerated cakes should usually be taken out between 30 minutes and two hours prior to being served, depending on the temperature in the room.

How long will the cakes stay fresh?

La Belle cakes are freshly made and best enjoyed within 2-3 days of collection/delivery.
